Medline Bordered Gauze is an absorbent island dressing constructed with a non-adherent, heavy-duty soaker pad and conformable, non-woven fabric adhesive border. The backing is water-resistant. Sterile Bordered Gauze is the perfect dressing for surgical incisions, superficial lacerations, abrasions, pressure ulcers, partial and full-thickness wounds, infected and non-infected wounds. These sterile gauze pads can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the amount of drainage and frequency of primary dressing changes.
