DermaGinate Ag is an alginate wound dressing with antibacterial silver for moderate to highly exudating wounds. For use on infected wounds or wounds suspected of infection. Highly absorbent. Conforms readily to any wound bed.
- Benefits: Absorbs moderate to heavy exudate, allows for intact removal of gelled alginate, assists with moist wound healing and autolysis, assists with bioburden management of infected wounds, silver protects against microbial contamination of the dressing, helping to control odor, white to off-white color won’t mask exudate assessment.
- Indications: A primary dressing for the management of moderate to heavily exudating partial to full thickness wounds, including postoperative wounds, trauma wounds, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, grafts, donor sites.
- Sterile.
- Latex-free.
