The Bunnell mini Modified Safety Pin Splint acts on only one joint to allow free movement of unaffected joints.
Product Specifications:
•Reduce flexion contracture at the PIP or DIP joint with dynamic motion.
•Made of aluminum with felt pads and bilateral wire coil supports.
•Shortened splint with coils.
•Appropriate for thumb IP joint splinting.
•Measure from palmar MP crease to mid thumbnail.
•Hook an loop strap allows for easy adjustments.
•Wash in moderately hot water with mild soap and blot dry.
•For DIP contractures measure length from PIP crease to finger tip.
•For PIP contractures measure length from MP to DIP crease.
•If between sizes, choose the larger size.
•Latex free.
